What a fantastic day at Staunton Post Acute! 🍕 Our residents had an absolute blast creating their very own personal pizzas from scratch. There's nothing quite like the joy of rolling out dough, adding your favorite toppings, and watching your culinary masterpiece come to life in the oven.

The smiles and laughter filled the room as everyone got creative with their pizza combinations - from classic pepperoni to adventurous veggie medleys! The aroma of freshly baked pizzas brought everyone together for a truly memorable experience.

A huge shoutout to our incredible Activities Department for organizing such a delightful and delicious activity. These hands-on experiences create lasting memories and bring our community closer together. 👏

Last fall Baylor, a Speech Language Pathology student at James Madison University, completed her adult field placement with our Director of Rehab and Speech Language Pathologist Laura Downey. Baylor got to be hands on with all residents on caseload and learned about the areas of dysphagia, cognition, dementia, dysarthria and many more. Laura throughly enjoys fostering the learning of students from her own Alma mater. This semester Baylor is completing her pediatric placement locally and will graduate with her Masters degree in May. Good luck Baylor! We miss you!
