At The Legacy, we believe art is a powerful expression that brings joy, connection and inspiration to daily life. That vision comes to life in The Atrium Art Gallery, located on the second floor of our community, where we proudly showcase the work of talented local artists.

Recently, we celebrated our latest exhibit featuring the creativity of residents and team members. Guests enjoyed a special reception, hearing directly from the artists, asking questions and gaining insight into the inspiration and techniques behind each piece.

The Legacy at North Augusta—A National Lutheran Community is seeking a licensed hairstylist to provide on-site salon services one day per week for residents.

This is a contracted position and a great opportunity for someone looking to build clientele, gain experience, and work in a warm, supportive environment. The residents truly look forward to salon day and value the relationships they build with their stylists.

Requirements:
· Current Virginia cosmetology license
· Certificate of Insurance (COI) required
· Ability to work independently as a contractor
· Friendly, professional demeanor and comfort working with older adults

Position Details:
· One day per week (day negotiable)
· Independent/contracted role
· Established resident interest and supportive staff

Stitching together a wonderful day! 🧵✨

Last week, residents enjoyed a delightful outing to Patchwork Plus Quilt Shop — Virginia’s largest quilt shop! From vibrant fabrics to beautifully crafted quilts, there was inspiration around every corner.

Whether they were seasoned quilters or simply admiring the artistry, the trip was filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of “oohs” and “aahs.” A perfect day spent exploring, connecting and appreciating the beauty of handmade traditions. 💛
