It is that time again! (And if you are reading this post thinking, “AGAIN?!” Don’t worry…we are too!!!)

Most of you have been part of the Valley Family Wellness family for a long time, and we are so grateful for you! You will remember that 4 years ago, Dr. Andrew’s daughter Natalie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer…and then relapsed…and has been in treatment ever since. She is doing super well on her continued at-home daily oral chemo, but she has to return to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for scans every 3-4 months. Next week is that time!

Our office will be CLOSED Tuesday-Friday next week (March 3-6). That means that TOMORROW and MONDAY are your last chance to book appointments until March 9. There are still a couple of time slots available, but we do expect them to fill up, so be sure to book online if you were planning to get in to see Dr. A!

In the early days of practice, Dr. Andrew would run out at all hours of the night to home births and new babies 🏡🤱🏼While that part of practice has changed over the years due to the demands of his own family life, nothing puts him back in his element as much as newborn adjustments! Occasionally he still gets the chance to do these in the homes of close family and friends, and this weekend was such a gift to meet baby M and get that first adjustment in at only 3 days old!

The week between Christmas and New Year’s: It can feel a little slower…it can feel like maybe you need a reason to get out of the house…and it can ALSO be a great week to catch up on things that might be a little more difficult when school is back in session! We personally use this week each year to make sure the whole family is caught up on adjustments so we can move into the New Year feeling our best! We have family blocks available this week for your convenience! One fee to take care of everyone’s needs (all family members must be established patients—if you need to get anyone in as a new patient, we have room for a couple of those as well!). This is the FINAL WEEK of the Toy Drive for UVA Children’s Hospital!!! Please be sure to bring in your toys by Friday, December 5!

Don’t have time to shop? We’ve had a couple patients leave cash and the Dodge kids have gone shopping to fill the box! We are happy to do that if you’d like to bring a financial donation by Wednesday!!
