Hereβs what you need to know: π¦ How much water do you need? Aim for 8 glasses a day minimum If you're active or outside a lot: drink Β½β1 oz of water per pound of body weight Sip throughout the day β donβt wait until you're thirsty!
π¨ Signs of Heat Exhaustion: Dizziness Heavy sweating Nausea Cramps Cool, clammy skin π₯ Signs of Heat Stroke (CALL 911): Hot, dry, red skin Confusion or unconsciousness No sweating High body temperature
β οΈ Can you drink too much water? Yes! Overhydration can cause hyponatremia (low sodium levels). Look out for: Headaches Swelling Nausea Muscle cramps Disorientation
