Make sh*t easy for yourself…

Life is hard enough sometimes… you don’t have to eat a 5 course meal every night…

Do this to make meal prep easier

Save this post now so you have it when you can’t think of anything for dinner

1️⃣Choose a protein ( that can be a premade rotisserie chicken!)

2️⃣ Choose a veggie ( what do you have at home or what do you like to eat)?

3️⃣ Choose a starch ( rice, pasta, etc) again personal preference here

4️⃣Add a fat or something that super satisfying for you ( this is usually 🥑 for me)

Rinse and repeat 👊

I’m going to break a few things down for you about the transition…

Why 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 matters for women especially navigating the 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 transition….

As you age, women lose 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 mass at a rate of .𝟳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘗𝘌𝘙 𝘠𝘌𝘈𝘙 starting in your thirties and forties ( every women is different)…

This loss 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 during the 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 transition…

Muscles are a 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 source of energy consumption…

which is what aids in the 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 of your 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 with age…

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 in muscle mass also contributes to 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲…

Causing the body to produce 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘯 thus increasing 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 which can lead to 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 gain…

All of this can lead to an 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 in your risk for type 𝟮 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 ….

The 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 you have the better at combating these conditions and 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 the decline in muscle loss…

In order to maintain and build lean muscle you need to consume 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻…

Ask yourself these questions:
➡️does this meal have 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 in it?

➡️Is it at a 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 a ✋ size serving?

Are you trying to grow muscle?

Build muscular endurance?

Here are 5 signs that you may not be lifting 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘺 enough…

1️⃣ You can easily do a ton of reps-

you can’t tell the difference between your first rep and your last rep

2️⃣ You’re 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 sore-

I’m not talking about can’t walk soreness… butt if you’re 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 sore, it’s an indicator that you’re muscles have adapted to the stimulus you’re placing on it… you’re muscles need a new challenge to 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸

3️⃣ You can’t remember the last time you increased your weight -

like it’s been 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴. This is where 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘥 becomes important

4️⃣ You zone 𝘰𝘶𝘵 during your workouts-

if you’re lifting heavy enough, it takes being present and a level of concentration

5️⃣ You aren’t seeing any gains 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 the gym-

If everyday activities like climbing stairs, lifting heavy grocery bags, or carrying your kid around don’t feel any easier, consider it a sign that you need to change things up in the gym

Remember it’s so important not to 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 form for more weight…
