Staying up to date with cervical cancer screenings can lead to early detection and better outcomes. If it’s been a while since your last exam, consider scheduling an appointment and taking a proactive step in your health!

Spring is in the air, and so are seasonal allergies. 🌼👶 If your little one seems extra fussy, congested, or is having trouble sleeping, it could be related to allergens like pollen. Keeping windows closed on high pollen days, using a humidifier, and talking with your pediatric provider can help keep your baby comfortable through the season.

At Santiam Family Birth Center, we encourage families to create custom birth plans that reflect what’s most important to them during labor and delivery. Our team works with you to support a plan that helps you feel informed, prepared, and confident.

While we offer many supportive options during labor, water births are not offered, and we’re always happy to talk through the options available for a safe, positive birth experience.

Our Story

The Santiam Family Birth Center is designed to offer a quiet, personal childbirth experience with a qualified, compassionate medical staff. We encourage the whole family to participate in the joy of their new beginning. Delivering parents are encouraged to ask questions and participate in deciding on the treatment options available to them. Parents are supported to keep baby in their private patient room and experience as much skin-to-skin contact as possible for bonding. Your birthing team will consist of a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, 24-hour care with our nursing staff, and Board-certified Anesthesiologists for pain management. You will experience centralized monitoring, and in-house breastfeeding assistance.
