A big cheer to the Oregon Office of Rural Health for awarding us $10,000 through the Rural Population Health Incubator Program! This grant supports our amazing CHW Lead Josie, who leads the CHW program with heart and grit. Our CHW program has been completely grant funded since 2021! Our team continues to be involved in regional and legislative workgroups to help make this a better financially supported position within the healthcare system. Seen a CHW in action? Thanks to Marion County Health & Human Services, we’ve received $25,000 through the Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Resilience Funds to support our incredible Community Health Worker (CHW) in the Emergency Department. Patti is our powerhouse—supporting patients with social service navigation, health education, and emergency prep efforts like “Be Two Weeks Ready” and summer safety awareness. She even hands out bike helmets like a true hometown hero. Thank you to MCHHS, we enjoy our work with you and look forward to the continued partnership!
