A free community event focused on brain health, the latest Alzheimer’s research, and local resources supporting individuals and families impacted by dementia. Lunch will be provided.

On Wednesday, Maggie Hudson, MBA, President & CEO of Santiam Hospital & Clinics, and Cheryl Nester Wolfe, MSN, RN, President & CEO of Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics, joined the Stayton Sublimity Chamber Greeters and local Rotary members for a conversation about the future of health care in our region.

Together, they discussed how the partnership between Santiam Hospital & Clinics and Salem Health & Hospitals & Clinics will help expand access to services, strengthen care close to home, and continue to invest in the Santiam Canyon community.

On Tuesday, Maggie Hudson, MBA, President & CEO of Santiam Hospital & Clinics and Cheryl Nester Wolfe, MSN, RN, President & CEO of Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics, joined community members for a Town Hall located at the Salem Public Library. The event provided an opportunity to share updates and take questions about the partnership and what it means for the future of health care in our region.

Most importantly, both leaders shared a strong commitment to growing services, retaining staff, and investing in the future of the Santiam Canyon because this is about meeting the needs of our community today, tomorrow and for decades to come. This is a strategic partnership for the future.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to attend the townhall and be a part of the conversation on Tuesday night.

Santiam Hospital & Clinics is proud to support Marion County’s efforts as part of the Climate and Health Adaptation Plan Grants Committee. We invite you to join us for an interactive training designed to help organizations build capacity and write competitive grants!

What to Expect:
Learn grant writing strategies from Evelyn McCoy-Harris, who has 9 years of experience in grant research, writing, budget development, and project management, securing over $30 million in nonprofit funding.

In-person attendees will also review current grant opportunities and brainstorm potential collaborations with other organizations.

This training is open to any organization serving Marion County.
