DBT skills teach you how to both change unwanted behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and events in your life that cause you misery and distress, as well as how to live in the moment, accepting what is. We focus on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills can help us practice acceptance while also building resilience and change. Dr. Jill Rubinstein brings a rich history in education and adult learning to her work as a DBT coach. She is a Certified Addiction Technician and Registered Unlicensed Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado.

Jill’s academic accomplishments speak for themselves. She received her BA from Colgate University, then continued onto Colorado College, where she earned her MA. In 2013, Jill completed her Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity at the University of Colorado in Denver. Jill fervently believes in the inherent worth of all people – regardless of their past experiences. She is committed to shattering the stigma around mental health and is driven to provide all her clients with the skills needed to live a joyful life.
