Dr. Ahlmeyer started Yampa Valley Ob/Gyn in 1996 with the idea of providing comprehensive women's healthcare in a comfortable, private-practice environment.

Dr. Leslie Ahlmeyer and the staff at Yampa Valley Ob/Gyn are dedicated to providing advanced, innovative and comprehensive women's healthcare in a small, intimate, private-practice setting. After raising two daughters in the Yampa Valley and celebrating their further education at Dartmouth College, Dr. Ahlmeyer chose to focus her energies on advanced, innovative gynecologic procedures, embracing minimally-invasive laparoscopic ROBOTIC surgery, in-office vaginal laser therapy, creative and effective hormone treatments, etc. while continuing to provide infertility, first trimester and postpartum care for obstetrical patients. She, her husband and their daughters continue to celebrate the Colorado mountain culture, and Dr. Ahlmeyer continues to be passionate about providing individualized care to the women who also choose residence in the Yampa and Green River Valleys of Northwest Colorado and Southwest Wyoming.

Dr. Ahlmeyer has long thought about the patient benefits of bringing a nurse practitioner into her office setting, but finding the right fit has not proven easy. Well, she is finally thrilled to welcome Danna Quinn to Yampa Valley Ob/Gyn. Danna is a dedicated, patient-centered family nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience working with females of all ages. She has been working with Dr. Ahlmeyer for several months, is getting a tremendous response from patients and the staff, and has taken the initiative to start a personalized, weight-loss counseling program. We feel very fortunate to have her join the team!
