We're excited to share that Pediatrics of Steamboat Springs is hiring a full-time Pediatrician to join our close-knit team! Founded in 1999, our well-established private practice has five board-certified pediatricians and one nurse practitioner, and we pride ourselves on treating every patient like family in a warm, supportive environment.

What you'll do:

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to infants, children, and adolescents (up to age 18)
Handle outpatient wellness & acute visits, share 365-day/24-hour inpatient call (with 24/7 NNP first call for high-risk deliveries at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center)
Enjoy a balanced schedule: ~3–4 clinic days/week (including one half-day Saturday/month) + 7–9 call shifts/month

Job Opening: Medical Receptionist at Pediatrics of Steamboat Springs!
We're a busy, family-focused pediatric practice proudly serving infants, children, and adolescents up to age 18 in Steamboat Springs & Hayden areas since 1999. Our mission is simple: deliver comprehensive, up-to-date medical care in a supportive, caring environment while keeping healthcare affordable and personalized for every family.

We're looking for a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team! This is a full-time or part-time role with opportunities to work across our locations (primarily Steamboat with some shifts in Hayden).

What you'll do:

Greet patients and families with a warm smile and positive attitude
Check in/out patients, schedule appointments, and manage phone calls
Handle insurance verification, billing questions, and basic office tasks
Support our providers and nurses to keep the day running smoothly
Help create a calm, welcoming space for kids and parents

Who we're looking for:

Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred (pediatric experience is a big plus!)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable with computers, multitasking, and staying calm in a fast-paced environment
Team player who loves working with children and families
Reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate

That’s why we’re excited to share that Routt County Public Health (RCPH) is giving away FREE gun safes this June to encourage responsible firearm storage, thanks to a grant from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention. 🔒
