Pamela Michelle Morse Turner was born on November 29, 1967 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Jessie Morse and Jean Austin Morse. She passed away on August 19, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 57.
She had been employed as a CNA and had been the manager at Car-Mac’s Shell Station in Holland, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include:
One son: Christopher “Blake” Turner of Steele, Missouri
Two grandsons:
Dorian Turner of Steele, Missouri
Jesse Turner of Steele, Missouri

Graveside services will be held for 89 year old Bobbye Love Dobbs on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 12:00 pm noon at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri. Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home in Steele beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until time to leave for service. Mrs. Bobbye Dobbs passed away on August 14, 2025 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.


Bobbye Love Hudson Dobbs was born on July 9, 1936 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Wallace Hudson and Opal Williams Hudson. She passed away on August 14, 2025 in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 89.
She was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, Missouri.
She was united in marriage on October 31, 1971 to Solon Oliver Dobbs, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 14, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and one son-in-law, Tim Alexander.
She is survived by:

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Adryen Ray-Gene Crawford passed away on August 10, 2025 at his residence in Steele.

Adryen Ray-Gene Crawford was born on October 3, 2007 in Kennett, Missouri to Shelby Brooke Pruitt Hall and Matthew Ray Crawford. He passed away on August 10, 2025 in Steele, Missouri at the age of 17.

Services for 75 year old Harold Barnes of the Number Eight community will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11:30 am at the Steele Church of Christ, 301 West Main in Steele, Missouri with Mr. John Mundy officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter, Missouri.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Steele Church of Christ, Number Eight Cemetery, or the *BRAVE TYPE Scholarship.

*This scholarship is for local seniors who have or are affected by diabetes. You can contact the family for more information on this.

William “Harold” Barnes was born on October 10, 1949 in Blytheville, Arkansas to William Madison Barnes and Wilma Ruth Nance Barnes. He passed away on August 4, 2025 in the Number Eight community in Pemiscot County, Missouri at the age of 75.
He had been employed at Nucor Yamato as a mobile maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Steele Church of Christ. Harold loved his grandchildren. He also enjoyed stock car racing.
He was united in marriage to Anita “Carol” Moore Barnes on June 20, 1969 in Steele, Missouri.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

His wife of 56 years, Carol Barnes of the Number Eight community
One daughter, Lora Barnes, of Cooter, Missouri
One son, Andrew Barnes and Melissa, of Cooter, Missouri

Visitation services for 85 year old Buford Lee “Pete” Brackin of Holland, Missouri will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri. Burial will be at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri following a committal service at 1:00 pm Monday, July 28, 2025. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Buford Lee “Pete” Brackin was born on April 21, 1940 in Yarbro, Arkansas to Herbert Lee Brackin and Bertha Mae Johnson Brackin. He passed away on July 21, 2025in Steele, Missouri at the age of 85.

He served his country in the U.S. Army. He had been employed at Agrico, which became Terra Industries, for many years until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents and:
Two brothers: Lloyd Brackin and Curtis Brackin
One sister: Mavis Brackin

He was united in marriage to Sharion McCullough Brackin on February 17, 1989 in Cooter, Missouri.

Services for 88 year old Harold Owen Williamson of Tyler, Missouri will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri with Rev. Don Tims, Jr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter.

Harold Owen Williamson, 88, of the Tyler, Missouri community died Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on April 4, 1937. He spent his whole life in the Tyler, Huffman, and Steele communities. He was a farmer and was a very loved employee at Bunge Corporation for around 40 years. He loved to fish, hunt, and garden. His favorite place to fish was on the river.
He leaves three sons: Ricky, Mark, and Paul (Mandy). He also leaves eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Blan H. and Reba Williamson.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Harold Williamson, Jr., and by his siblings: Blan, Ashlin”Tunney”, John, Frank, and Dorothy Harper.

Graveside services for 75 year old James Cloyd Pierce of Cooter, Missouri will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri. Mr. Pierce passed away on July 7, 2025 at River Oaks Care Center in Steele.

James Cloyd Pierce was born on January 2, 1950 in the Tyler community of Pemiscot County, Missouri to Cloyd Pierce and Lillie Murphy Pierce. He passed away on July 7, 2025 in Steele, Missouri at the age of 75.
He had been employed as a farm worker and enjoyed gardening and hunting.
He was united in marriage on September 12, 1968 in Steele, Missouri to Dianna “Diane” Hinklin Pierce. She preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Pierce, and one sister, Mary Tucker.

Anthony Edward Campbell was born on May 28, 1987 in Polk County, Florida to William Anthony Campbell and Sheila Rae Hambel Campbell. He passed away on June 30, 2025 in Van Buren, Missouri at the age of 38.
He was a hard worker and liked helping people. He loved kids and enjoyed karaoke and listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his father and his mother that raised him, Dale Campbell.
