We’re dedicated to supporting first responders, healthcare heroes, and veterans through the power of therapy dogs. 🐾❤️ Our team brings joy and comfort by offering classes, conversations, and canine companionship. As a peer support group, our goal is to provide valuable resources and support to fellow first responders, healthcare workers, and veterans. If you are experiencing an immediate crisis, please call 911.

This Wednesday | 6:00 PM–9:00 PM

Sometimes you don’t need answers, you just need a place where you belong.

People have told us this space feels like a safe place.

That’s exactly why we keep the fire going.

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community around the campfire. Come as you are, stay as long as you’d like, and know you’re not alone.

Today, we lost one of our greatest supporters.

Deputy John Kooistra was there from the very beginning, helping us shape our programming and supporting our growth every step of the way. He believed in Ember’s Paws of Hope early on and connected us with incredible people, many of whom we still work with today.

John’s support, guidance, and kindness made a lasting impact on our organization and on all of us personally. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy and the work he helped build will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Deputy. Thank you for everything. 🖤🐾
