So excited to have Arrow CS Productions come by the Happy Animals Feed Barn yesterday to pick up a tote of Cubeit.

This author has been grabbing a few of their races when I can. The result? Awesomeness. It's that vintage feeling of barrel racing mixed with the professionalism of today. What a great combination to be known for.

If you have not been to one of their races? Let's support those jackpots The Expo at Glen Rose and these producers in their private endeavors also. So much fun....and so much...that we are working out some sponsorship details now to be a part of it. 🎯

Come see us if you need a tote, a pallet, or even a few bags.
We sell a variety of products for your horses and cattle...pelleted grain (Alfa Fuel), lick tubs & more. 6 miles south of Stephenville--a short drive to save big, and as always the conversation with JSchu....well that's your free bonus. 🤣

Just a quick note to clear up a few things and hopefully make it easier for everyone. 😊

You don’t need to text or call to see if we are open—we are a regular business with regular business hours. Being located out in the country doesn’t change the way we operate. I think sometimes folks assume we’re just “that guy”, with a side hustle, selling cubes out of his barn at his house. 🤣 We all know that guy… but that’s definitely not us.

We are a full-time, working business, and we keep consistent hours so you can count on us.

The Happy Animals® Feed Barn
Monday–Friday: 10:00–5:30
Saturday: 9:00–12:00
Sunday: Closed
📞 254-413-7806 (Feed Barn only)

While we truly appreciate every single one of our customers, we are not available for calls or texts after hours or on Sundays. Our crew works hard, and that downtime is important so we can come back ready to take care of you the next day.

There are also times during the week when we have trucks lined up to the gate loading feed. On those days, we may not be able to answer calls or texts immediately. It might take a few minutes… it might take a little longer—but we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Also, just a friendly reminder—this is a working business location and a private residence. Please do not pull in outside of business hours, honk, or try to flag someone down. We promise we will take care of you during posted hours.

If we ever have an unexpected closure, it will always be posted and pinned right here on the Happy Animals® page so you don’t waste a trip. We value your time just as much as you do.

Next week’s update:
The Equine Supplement side of Happy Animals® will not be shipping next week as we’ll be in Oklahoma City for the BBR World Finals. You’re still welcome to send orders to the Happy Animals inbox, but I won’t be able to respond with totals until I return.

If you’re in OKC and run out of something—come find me. I probably have a tube or two in my personal stash I can help you out with. 😉

Thank you all for your business—we truly appreciate it and look forward to seeing you soon!

Let's chat about a common issue in horses.
Brittle hooves, thin white line---we call that bad feet.

If you go to a page and ask "What will help?", you'll get a 1000 different responses of products, oils, paints and supplements but what you won't hear is the number one problem. Why? Let's start at the beginning.

Horses naturally produce biotin (vitamin B7) through microbial fermentation of forage in their hindgut. When the body is lacking nutrition in a certain way? It stops making its own biotin and the lack of ends up showing up in the hoof. While there's a percentage of horses that seem to just have "bad feet"--the old timers swear a white hoof is a bad hoof, most issues can be solved thru addressing the hindgut of the horse instead of what we see which is the break down of the hoof wall.

Let's shake this out.....

▪️Production Method: Microbes in the horse's large intestine synthesize biotin.

▪️Dietary Sources: Good-quality forage (pasture/hay/alfalfa), oats, and soy are natural sources.

▪️Supplementation: An additional cost for the owner but studies indicate supplementation (15–25 mg/day) can improve hoof quality in horses with existing, poor hoof structure.

▪️Time Requirement: Due to slow hoof growth, improvements from biotin supplements take 5–12 months to become apparent. It's a painfully slow process for both the owner, the farrier and the horse.

For us? The answer is simple. Fix the hindgut and you fix the horse. And you fix the problem with the feet. Anyone can sell you supplements but fixing the hindgut is the easiest and best solution for the horse & the owner. We've got you covered from the digestive tract to the hoof to correct these problems. Our products are state tested, milled with care and independently tested for purity and your peace of mind. Your confidence is not something we take lightly.

We offer products that are part of our Total Body Series, such as ALFA FUEL pelleted grain--our highly concentrated hi fat forage equine feed; REHAB--our 15 in 1 Supplement that covers so many things from circulation, respiratory, epm recovery as just a few. Next--VITA/MIN+RAIN, a loose mineral mix containing extra copper and biotin if needed, and last but not least--our premier digestive tract wonder paste--PERFORMANCE GOLD for performing horses & FOAL GOLD for newborns foals that need additional colostrum, vitamins, minerals ect at birth. All of these products were developed to condition the digestive tract and will help the horse to redevelop a healthy, more efficient gut. We WANT your horse to make its own biotin! We've created a line of products that work together including T3 Buckets (Total Travel Tub) and lick tubs that contain our digestive tract drench, RAIN®.

The Happy Animals® Feed Barn will remain closed today due to ice and freezing weather, as the safety of our customers, staff, and animals always comes first.

We are hopeful to reopen by 12 noon tomorrow, pending improved conditions. Please stay safe, stay warm, and give your animals a little extra care during this cold snap. Thank you for your patience and continued support—we’re grateful for each of you.
