Happy Palm Sunday!
Christ’s sacrifice on the cross reminds us that we were redeemed, justified, sanctified, & reconciled to God.
Therefore, No weapon formed against You will prevail, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. Isaiah 54:17.

Single mothers,
Every week, 5-8 single mothers inbox me, each with different challenges. Most of their stories are sad, scary, painful & suicidal. Their common misery begins with unfaithful men.

I haven’t figured out yet the best way to help. However, incase anyone has ideas, or feels led to help, let me know.
After you read through the screenshots & want to help a specific single monther, I’ll reveal identity after getting their consent & confirming that you’re genuinely ready to help. Thank you.

The Church?

My grandma always held my hand early mornings straight to church. She got me connected to little children’s church.

I identified myself with friends that were like me. Church was about heaven, paradise plays, songs of praises, sweet &moelodious hymns.

Pastor Allan Kitui, I can vividly remember, he was a great vocal preacher, every time he stood up to preach, the atmosphere felt like Jesus was speaking & touching His people. I always stuck around after morning church to attend his sermons.
My grandmother’s 10 kids made an awesome chior.

Every Sunday, I watched many saints arrive at church on bicycles, some journeyed from as far as 50miles. Cars were very few.

Families were always together.
The unity of churches Sunday service was so fascinating. Choirs came from different churches, and denominations such as Baptist Church, Anglican and Assimbless of God. Indeed, the new Jerusalem, one of the songs captivated many hearts. There was no division among pastors, churches & denominations. Bad things still happened at that time, but never changed their names to be called good.

The preachings, songs & church drama, always pointed at Jesus. Love was evident in everyone’s face.
How I long & desire to keep these memories forever. The weak, the strong, poor & rich, found a place to call home. PEFA church was the name. How I miss watching the adjudicators conduct the worship songs. The ushers walking around to help mothers with babies and the elderly.

This church held hopes together. Moral & spiritual insights shaped many lives, including mine.

This was a time, when sitting arrangements was not determined by financial status. Church elders always reached out to individuals after church service, to greet, connect & build relationships.

Am just writing about my childhood church, how I long to live it again. Christmas was not just an event to feel good, eat delicious meals, road trips, new clothes & partying. The day was ingnited by Candle lights, sharing gifts & Bethlehem stories that defined the season.

Church was not about fashion, designs, & money. Preachers boasted for nothing but God. Radio and TV stations preached salvation.

Today, many have lost the power of the Cross, Salvation has been neglected.
Fame, power & wealth drive the anointing. Prophecies are classified into levels.
But there’s God. He’s watching, blessing those who still stand and worship Him in THRUTH & SPIRIT.

And to the lost, “Thus says the LORD, “Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is, and walk in it; And you will find rest for your souls”. Jeremiah 6:16-20.

Any amount donated monthly, directly helps each orphaned & abandoned welcomed into the new family at Gloryland to get everything they need to thrive—food, medical care, an education, and the love of Jesus.
Our 2024 fitting verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Each child works hard to live the dreams God has placed on his/her heart. The slides below show different activities that require monthly funding.

Our monthly donations are below average to cater for all these children. Would you join hands with us to continue making lasting difference in our community?.

Donate today at www.glorylandhome.org. Tax deductible.

Douglas Nyce, Family matters,

Your interviews on media reveal unresolved anger & your face seemed distorted with rage.

Being abandoned for 40-years, you got to meet your mother in Carlifonia hotel, instead of excitement, pain was stimulated. I clearly understand, and feel the validity of your pain since I come from the same trait of a broken family.

The major problem identified in dysfunctional families is that we/children tend to carry/inherit the past bitterness & failures of our parents. We judge life according to what we were told, watched or experienced.

Me & you share tough beginnings, I never got chance to see my father & Mom live together. Watching other children come to school with their parents was like a movie. However, I’ve been keen to choose inner peace, healing & forgiveness. Life happens for a reason.

This process can take a long time. And might require family therapy specialist.

The unrealistic part in this situation is to imagine that we still can fit into the present life of our separated parents. It’s impossible.

In most cases, when parents separate & each finds their new life, children tend to be victims of trauma due to the underlying psychological impact.

My piece of advise to you, my brother.

You can’t change the past, but you can change/choose how your life & family would become. We have an obligation to block undesired/wrong seeds from invading our new family. By God’s grace, we can cut off negative forces inherited in our bloodline.

As you mentioned on tv, your mother never opened up to her new husband about the children she got from her first marriage. Yes, it’s painful to feel rejected, abandoned & betrayed, but seeking your way in her life might instead develope more wounds.

Pursue inner healing! As long as your mom’s new life/marriage doesn’t pose any risk in your life, forgive, bless & move on.

Incase her attitude changes, and calls for reunion, go with an open mind & clean heart. Though the natural bond will never develop, healing, love & harmony shall be cultivated.

You said she’s a famous preacher in America, this position doesn’t necessarily make her a perfect parent. It’s wrong for people to believe that preachers are superhuman. We all have a thorn in flesh.

Meanwhile, continue to build a new path for your lineage. Let your children & wife find something different & better.

I guarantee you, a happy family shall always will be your perfect source of healing & wholeness.

Above all, may God give you wisdom, to write a good legacy for your children, & grandchildren.

Yes, we can be authors of new beginnings!

Read via NTV reporter that yesterday, a mother dumped her baby in a trench Busega & left a note behind saying that when the baby grows up, she will look for her”

I pray that this baby will find a place to call home, & our arms are open.
To single mothers, I know life sometimes gets so hard, but dumping your babies doesn’t make life better either.
