Arden Courts Sterling Heights Memory Care Community proudly participated in the Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Detroit Zoo! 🦒💜 The zoo was filled with families, friends, and caregivers—each with a personal connection to Alzheimer’s, whether supporting a loved one or living with the disease themselves. It was an inspiring day of hope, remembrance, and unity as we continue working toward a world without Alzheimer’s.

Families and community joined at Arden Courts Sterling Heights for an interactive educational seminar focused on understanding what it may feel like to live with dementia. They were able to take home tips on how to communicate better and be a better dementia caregiver overall.

Each resident is unique and so are their needs. When it comes to meals, our menu items are carefully prepared with consideration of a resident’s likes, skills and capabilities. We ensure modifications are made to maintain a person’s independence as long as possible. When forks and knives are no longer working, finger foods are prepared to help maintain a sense of dignity.
