We had a pawsitively massive visitor at the clinic today! 🐶 While his human got some healing in, this gentle giant kept us all smiling. We loved having this gentle giant visit while his owner focused on recovery. Healing happens in many ways,and sometimes, it involves 100+ pounds of unconditional love. ❤️

March is National Athletic Training Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the important work of athletic trainers, who are healthcare professionals who work to prevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate injuries and medical conditions related to physical activity.

Here at Team Rehab Sterling Heights, we would like to take this opportunity to proudly celebrate our very own Athletic Trainer Xeng Lor!
Xeng has been working not only at our clinic, but has been working as the provider of Athletic Training services for Sterling Heights High School. Thanks to Xeng for all he does for his student athletes and our patients!

Does anyone recognize this sweet guy? Found running along Metro Parkway outside our clinic into oncoming traffic. We were able to catch him and took him to Metropolitan Veterinary Center to scan him and he had no chip. He is now at Sterling Heights animal control. Please share!

Here are just a few interventions commonly performed by our therapists to address low back pain. Each patient requires a thorough evaluation to individualize the treatment approach necessary to work toward their specific functional goals.
• Manual therapies including hip and thoracic stretching and joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilization and functional massage to lumbar spine
•Exercise and strengthening to create stability in the spine, hips, and core musculature
• Postural education and body mechanics for sitting posture, bending, lifting and squatting, bed mobility, and transfers
