✨ What a fun weekend at the Gathering Wellness Festival on Saturday! 💚 Now it’s back to my regular schedule this week.

I’ll be out restocking shelves in Sterling, Mendota, and Amboy on Wednesday & Thursday. If you’re looking for something specific at those locations, just send me a message and I’ll make sure to bring it along. 🌿

What are the odds we both decided Rooted Wellness was the best name for our journeys! ❤️ 🫶🏻👏

✨ We did it – 500 friends in this circle! ✨

A few weeks ago I shared that I was just 20 people away from 500, and thanks to YOU, I’ve now reached that milestone. 🎉 To celebrate, I’ll be doing a special giveaway drawing (details coming Sunday night – so stay tuned 👀).

Since there are some new faces here, I’d love to take a moment to re-introduce myself and share a little of my story:

🌿 By day, I’m a full-time Respiratory Therapist with 24 years of experience.
🌿 Academically, I hold two master’s degrees – one in Holistic Nutrition and one in Health Administration with a concentration in Functional Nutrition. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine, and I’m a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor currently training as a BreathWorks Facilitator.
🌿 In February 2024, I founded Rooted2Wellness, LLC – my passion project turned growing business.

Today, Rooted2Wellness is stocked in three locations:

🌸 Emerald Beauty Bar (Amboy, IL) – where I have my own room

🌞 Beach Club Tanning & More (Mendota, IL) – with a shelf & fridge setup

🌿 Rooted Wellness Center (Sterling, IL) – with a newly added fridge & shelf

Beyond the credentials and business, here’s a little about me:
💙 I’m a proud mom of three – one son who just got his own place, a daughter starting her first year at NIU, and my youngest, a high school senior.
🐾 I share my home in the country with three doodles (two goldendoodles + one husky-poo).
🌱 My heart is in herbal remedies, aromatherapy, holistic wellness, and helping people get to the root of their health concerns.

I’m so grateful you’re here – cheering me on, supporting local, and helping me grow. 💚

📣 Ingredient Update for This Week’s Bougie Bites 🍫✨

Hey Bougie Bites fam! We wanted to give a heads-up to all of our vegan lovers 💚 — this week’s batch is not fully vegan due to a supply delay. Our usual vegan chocolate chips didn’t arrive in time, so we had to make a last-minute swap with regular chocolate chips that contain milk.

The rest of the ingredients are still gluten-free but the chocolate chips are not vegan this time.

We know how important this is to many of you, and we appreciate your understanding 💕 The fully vegan Bougie Bites you know and love will be back next week—with our signature vegan chocolate chips included!

📣Let's WELCOME Sacred Restoration Reiki to Rooted Wellness Center 📣

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-ke) is a Japanese technique for relaxation and stress reduction that promotes the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Life force energy, commonly referred to as chi, ki or prana, flows through pathways in and around the bodies of all living things. Stressors and traumas of everyday life can impede the freedom of this energy to flow properly. Over time if left untreated, the energy becomes blocked along these pathways and emotional, mental and physical symptoms may occur.

Reiki works to help restore the energy flow to its optimum state which supports the body’s natural healing mechanisms. It promotes overall well-being and balance in the body.

Angie will be available and ready to see clients starting 8/25!
