This man is telling the truth about your sleep patterns.
Although body work and massage can help the body calm down and let go it isn't a cure all for the nervous system.

If you are stuck in chronic exhaustion fight or flight etc
Please do yourself a favor and seek help.
It may be some things you can fix easily but some may need people who have made it a career to help others stuck in those modes.

You can't supplement your way out of a ramped nervous system sadly. Although they can be very helpful they won't truck the brain enough to relax in the long run

When the body has been trying to reach you about your extended warranty for years and hasn't been successful it will find a way to slow you down.

And remember be kind to yourself ALWAYS ❤️

They say massage is helpful for stimulating the healing response for lower back pain.

⛳ Golf could possibly be one of the worst hidden injury sports when it comes to the twisting and turning at higher speeds ⏩

Bodywork styled massage techniques are great at helping with the recovery or just staying in the game by helping to correct tight fascia.

Sadly this guy is going to need a lot more than bodywork can provide

Be careful out there folks.

That ball was obviously too good for it's home ⛳ 🤬

Good evening everyone!

So I have been pretty quiet as of lately on here but I have been up to quite a few things to build my skills as a therapist

Last week I took classes by Natalie Pendergrass of Sacred Spirit Bodywork on Gua Sha the ancient art of Chinese scraping therapy.

I promise when done effectively it isn't even painful even for people with low pain tolerances 🫣

Then on the weekend I attended my first Dalton myoskeletal seminar as well.

The goal for this modality is to help align the head and the tail.
As some of you may know I've been working towards master myoskeletal therapist online and this was the first major step.

I met some great people had solid partner who trained with Erik himself at one point. We had some cool teacher assistants named Dave and Emery and the class was taught by Scott Doss.

I even met up with a local therapist and neither of us had any clue the other was going 😂

Although I never got to meet Erik in person his spirit and energy lives on through the people he taught and his online presence
It just made sense for me to be into a system that is built on by a drummer who had too many dad jokes 🥁 🎵❤️
