At last month’s Gathering in the Falcons Landing Ballroom, residents had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Kevin Cropp, who gave an engaging talk on the realities of Trench Warfare. The presentation sparked meaningful discussion and reflection, making for another thought-provoking evening together.

The Monarchs Are Coming! Residents enjoyed a facinating presentation with guest speaker Georgina Chin, who shared the wonders of butterfly migration, unique characteristics of monarchs, and more. From seeing real caterpillars, butterfly eggs, and monarchs up close to learning tips on how to attract them right here in our butterfly garden, it was an inspiring and educational experience!

Today, on Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance, we pause at Falcons Landing to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to recognize the courage of the first responders, service members, and countless others who answered the call that day. We remember, we reflect, and we continue to stand united in service and in spirit.

🇫🇷 Bonjour from Falcons Landing! This month’s Meet & Greet was extra special - we welcomed nine new residents, our largest introductions to date! After warm conversations and connections, residents enjoyed a French inspired buffet featuring delicate eclairs, salmon wrapped in puff pastry, a fresh nicoise salad with tuna, and charming Eiffel Tower decor that transported us straight to France. Here’s to growing friendships and savoring life together at Falcons Landing! 🇫🇷

Our residents gathered in the ballroom for an informative and engaging Wellness Presentation with Dr. Bhatia from DMV Spine and Pain. He covered important topics like disc bulge, herniation, spondylosis, and spinal stenosis - offering valuable insghts into spine health and pain management. Residents had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about ways to take care of their spine health. We’re grateful to Dr. Bhatia for taking the time to share his expertise with our community!

Residents gathered in the Ballroom for an informative presentation hosted by Northwest Federal Credit Union on organizing financial documents - a task that can often feel overwhelming, especially when it involves trusts and estate planning. Thanks to Joanna Wilbur, an IRA Estate & Trust Account Team Leader, residents of Falcons Landing had the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on how to navigate this important aspect of financial wellness. We’re grateful for opportunities like these that empower our community with knowledge and peace of mind.
