We treat in a community setting similar to clinics in China. The energy is great and you will make new friends. The recliners are comfy and the music is soothing.
We are here to help you heal. We charge $25.00 per session. Most Acupuncturists charge $60 to $175 or more. We want you to be able to come in multiple times per week. Acupuncture is a THERAPY and should be practiced as a therapy. There is a accumulative effect with 2 to 3 sessions per week in the beginning. We do offer multi visit discounts.
The community setting requires some flexibility from you. Sometimes we are so busy you may not be seen at your appointment time, some patients fall asleep and snore or you may not get your favorite chair. You can bring a blanket or your own music if you would like, we don’t mind!
The soothing atmosphere in our clinic exists because everyone relaxes together. This kind collective stillness is rare in today’s rushed and busy society. PLEASE TURN OFF CELL PHONES.
Acupuncture is a process. It is rare for any Acupuncturist to get a one treatment cure. In China acupuncture is done in two week sessions called “courses of treatment” and the patient is treated daily. Here I like to see you 2 to 3 times a week in the early stages of treatment and then taper off to a maintenance schedule.
If you don’t come in CONSISTENTLY this therapy may give you less than satisfactory results.
I also offer massage, cupping and guasha. These are all traditional therapies in Chinese Medicine. Herbal and or Nutritional consultations are available and recommended for today’s chronic complaints. I use and recommend Pure Encapsulations Nutritional Supplements. Lastly, I tutor monthly with a Chinese Dr. of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I always consult with him on all cases.
We hope you enjoy our space, we do and hope it becomes and important part of your healing process.
