🚨EMERGENCY LIFE SAVING DONATIONS & PRAYERS NEEDED!!🙏🏻🚨
5️⃣0️⃣ DAYS.
Fifty days of cold nights.
Fifty days of silence.
Fifty days of wondering where your baby is… and whether he’s even still alive.
This morning, that silence broke.
A kind neighbor found Pio collapsed — too weak to stand, too depleted to move. His tiny body was shutting down from hypothermia. More than half of his body weight gone. Skin and bones. Unrecognizable.
Unrecognizable… except for one thing.
HIS MICROCHIP.
That small chip is the reason his family got the call instead of a different ending.
For 50 days, Cheri & his family refused to let hope die. While the world kept moving, they lived in survival mode. With the help of Debbie & Tim - They hung flyers over and over — even when they were taken down. Under Miss. Cheri’s guidance through this entire process - They set up trail cameras. Built feeding stations that were replenished daily. Purchased traps of every size. Walked trails in freezing temperatures. Posted daily. Answered messages at all hours. Followed every lead — even the ones that went nowhere.
They searched tirelessly with zero confirmed sightings. Imagine the mental toll of fighting for something you can’t see… can’t hear… can’t prove is still out there.
Still, they didn’t stop.
When hope felt impossibly thin, they called in Lisa with The Feline Finders - Pet Detective. Lisa and her tracking dog - Madison, worked the neighborhood. JUST thirty feet from that scent trail… Pio was found!!
Thirty feet.
Which means he was close. Close this entire time.
We believe he may have been trapped somewhere — possibly in a storm drain during the snow, under a structure, somewhere hidden where he couldn’t escape. Alone. Cold. Starving. Waiting.
And yet… he held on.
Thank you to Loudoun County Animal Services who responded quickly & immediately stepped in providing emergency stabilization. 🩷
His family rushed to him and transferred him to VEG LEESBURG, where he is now receiving life-saving AMAZING care. (BIG THANK YOU to the wonderful team caring for him!) ❤️
He is currently undergoing a blood transfusion.
His body is severely compromised.
His prognosis is guarded.
But he is alive.
We truly believe God allowed him to be found today — not yesterday, not next week — but today, when there was still time to try. 🙏🏻
Now comes the next battle.
The first day of emergency care has already surpassed $10,000… and this is only the beginning. Critical care, monitoring, transfusions, hospitalization — the costs will continue to rise as they fight to stabilize him.
His family has already poured everything — emotionally, physically, financially — into finding him. They never gave up on him for 50 days.
And now they refuse to give up on him in this fight either.
But they cannot do it alone.
