🌎🌱 Earth Day Fun at MediLodge of Sterling! 🌱🌎

We had a great time celebrating Earth Day with a creative scavenger hunt throughout our building! Staff followed hidden clues, discovered Earth Day-themed questions, and put their knowledge to the test by turning in their answers for a sweet reward—delicious dirt cake! 🍰

And don’t worry… no worms were harmed during this event! 😉

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day so fun and engaging. It’s always a joy finding new ways to celebrate together while learning a little something along the way! 💚

🌸🐰 Look back at our Easter Celebration at MediLodge of Sterling 🐰🌸

We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter at MediLodge of Sterling! Our building was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of springtime cheer. 🌷✨

The Easter Bunny made a special visit, bringing joy to both our residents and staff as everyone enjoyed festive photos and shared in the fun. 📸🐣 From big hugs to bright smiles, these moments truly made the day extra special!

To top it all off, our amazing team enjoyed a delicious Easter brunch as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication every day. 🥐💐

“When I first started therapy here, I had difficulty standing up and couldn’t walk very far. Now, I’m able to stand more easily, walk much longer distances, and I’m far more independent with my daily tasks.

If you’re feeling nervous about starting therapy—don’t be! Go for it, it’s good for you!

My favorite part about working with the team? I love the activities and exercises they put me through. We have a really great camaraderie.”

1.) When you first started therapy with us, what were you struggling with, and how is that different now?
"I was really struggling with my endurance, energy levels, and coming out of my shell. Now, when I come to therapy, I’ve made so many friends who root for me and cheer me on. My energy and confidence have really improved!" 💪💙

2.) What would you tell someone who is nervous about starting therapy here?
"You’ll be alright. Just do what they tell you and put your whole heart into it." 🌟

3.) What was your favorite part about working with our team?
"I love working with Megan, Mike, and Lexi. Their words of encouragement always make me want to do more and work harder." 🙌

Louise is always ready to go and fully present in the therapy gym—her motivation is second to none! 💥 She brings a positive attitude every day and keeps everyone smiling with her sense of humor. "I chose this center because it was close to home and I had heard good things. I think the Activities Department really stands out to me because they have so many interesting and fun things to do; it really helps me get into it and participate! With this being a small and quaint facility, I have been able to meet everyone here, create relationships with friends who have been here, as well as friends who have left. It is a special feeling."
