Loudoun Sports Therapy Center is an outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinic in Sterling, VA. We specialize in all orthopedic conditions and injuries involving the bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments surrounding the: back, neck, hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, and wrist. We have specialized programs for vestibular rehab / balance and dizziness, concussion management, dancers, runners, and cyclists. We offer pre-surgery training and therapy as well as treatment for those suffering from arthritis. We are in-network for most insurance companies including but not limited to: Blue Cross Federal, Cigna, Anthem BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Humana. We offer affordable per visit rates for individuals who do not have health insurance.

Facing the prospect of joint replacement surgery can be daunting. Attending physical therapy before surgery (pre-operative physical therapy) is the key to a smoother recovery.

Pre-operative physical therapy prepares you physically and mentally for surgery. During these sessions you will:

Learn what to expect and what will happen in therapy after surgery.
Go over basic post operative exercises.
Build up strength in surrounding muscles for better foundation prior to surgery.

Angela got Results at LSTC!

"I came to PT because my left arm was in great pain with muscle tightening + tingling down my arm + hand/fingers. My shoulder also ended up being part of this pain. My experience has been great - I feel relieved that my arm + shoulder are in no more pain + the tingling has been gone for some time now. While in the process, my former neck issue has been something we also tried to work on I am hopeful some of the stretches are helpful for the future and will be following up with a doctor about an MRI to assess what else may be going on."
