Dr. Sabina Malhotra is dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive care for all conditions of the foot and ankle. Her areas of expertise include treatment of sports-related injuries and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Malhotra is one of the first foot & ankle specialists in the country to obtain a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sp

orts Medicine. She is also an Associate Member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Her professional motto is simple: "Patients first." A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Malhotra played varsity tennis at Flint Hill School and then received her Bachelor of Science at The College of William & Mary. She obtained her podiatric medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed surgical residency training at MedStar Health, Washington Hospital Center & Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Malhotra is excited to bring her passion for helping others to her hometown community, and strives to provide only the highest quality of care to her patients. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

Join us in Reston for some education September 11th at 6pm! Dr. Sabina Malhotra is a board-certified foot & ankle surgeon and sports podiatrist. She is 1 of only 36 physicians in the country to hold the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Podiatric Sports Medicine. A native of northern Virginia and a lifelong athlete, Dr. Malhotra is honored to serve her hometown community. She is the consulting doctor for several local running and sports clubs. Dr. Malhotra believes in the natural healing properties of the body and encourages her patients to remain active throughout the recovery and training process.

I have a handful of patients flying out to Boston in the next 24 hours for the 127th running of the Boston Marathon next week! I could not be more proud of their perseverance and accomplishments. Adjusting training due to a sidelining injury or flare up of an old issue is never easy. You have made it this far. Boston is a dream goal for so many, and I am cheering you on! What's an amazing way to start 2023?? Dr. Sabina Malhotra has become one of the first foot & ankle physicians in the country to receive the inaugural 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗔𝗤) 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲. She was 1 of only 36 qualifying physicians achieving this distinction.

The CAQ in Podiatric Sports Medicine is offered in conjunction with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. This CAQ is designed to recognize and distinguish excellence among foot & ankle physicians whose practice emphasizes expertise in the field of Sports Medicine.
