Week 44!
Spend time in nature-
Spending time in nature is a powerful way to recharge both body and mind. Surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the soothing sounds of wildlife, stress melts away and a sense of calm takes its place. Nature invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the present moment. Whether it's a walk through the woods, a picnic in the park, or simply sitting by a lake, these moments offer clarity, joy, and a renewed appreciation for life's simple beauty. It's a gentle reminder that peace is often just a step outside.

Week 43!
Support a friend!
Supporting a friend shows that you care about their well-being and strengthens your bond. When you stand by someone during tough times or celebrate their successes, it builds trust and deepens your connection. Friends who feel supported are more likely to return that kindness, creating a lasting and meaningful relationship. Even small gestures of support can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Re Introducing John Jaeger, DPT!

After graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High in 1990, John enrolled at Marquette University where he completed both his bachelor’s in Biology and his Masters in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation in 1997, he began his career as a traveling physical therapist working all over the country in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient hospital care, inpatient rehab, and long term care. In 1999, he returned to Central Wisconsin, working as a staff physical therapist at Saint Michael’s Hospital where he would become the Coordinator of Rehab Services, for the Saint Michael’s Plover location.

In the spring of 2007, John founded Point Forward Physical Therapy Ltd. and has enjoyed growing his own physical therapy practice since. In addition to his past 20 plus years of practice, John feels his patients directly benefit from the many great experiences he has had. John has also been privileged to serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has attended continuing education courses including treatment techniques for the foot, ankle, knee, hip, low back, thoracic spine, shoulder, and elbow.

Re Introducing Kendra Cichy, PT!
She is our Pelvic Floor Specialist-

Kendra Cichy joined the Point Forward Physical Therapy team in 2022. She has over 20 years of Physical Therapy experience, spending most of her time working in outpatient private practice, receiving her Orthopedic Specialist Certification in 2008. Kendra became a physical therapist with sports medicine in mind. Over the years of treating patients, she realized that often the most fulfilling moments come from working with a patient to regain the ability to care for and spend time with their families, return to work and to maintain participation in recreational activities. She has developed specialties in working with the spine, pelvic floor. She also has continued education in trigger point dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation.
When Kendra is not working with patients she is either spending time with her family, including her husband and three children, and pursuing her own recreational activities. She enjoys hiking, running, biking, kayaking, fishing and hunting and has recently taken up golf.
Kendra looks forward to seeing you soon and discovering what goals she can help you achieve.
