He lives for the "Gonstead Style" that doesn't include prescribing medications, cost-effective for patients, and has helped patients avoid major surgeries. About Dr. Twit:
At an early age, I had a strong desire to pursue a career in the health field but did not know the direction to follow until I read about this “thing” called chiropractic. I was told it was conservative, did not include prescribing medication, was cost-effective and actually worked very well in most cases. After discussing options in the medical field, osteopathy, podiatry, optometry and dentistry, it seemed obvious chiropractic was the natural choice. Upon completion of chiropractic school at Palmer in Davenport, Iowa, our family moved to Madison to practice with a large office where I was clinic director from 1976-1979. We moved to Stevens Point in 1979 and built the existing building in 1981 where it exists today. Specifically I practice the Gonstead technique, a precise method and protocol for evaluation and treatment, which began in Mt. This technique is taught in all chiropractic schools worldwide. Traditionally full spine X-rays are conducted to fully understand the total body ergonomics while standing upright. I consider it an honor to be given the chance to treat a patient and can promise total effort to achieve the best results that we can produce as a team.
