Since last posting about Mom and where she went many of you have now asked for an update!
Well, so far my Dad is doing great! He continues to beat all odds. He is getting his chemo every other week pretty much. The only time he doesn't if is his counts are to low, blood pressure is to low or something is messed up. Then he gets a booster shot and they try again the next week. He is never all that heart broken when dhe can't get his chemo. He always says, "I don't have to feel crappy then today and tomorrow."
Mom on the other hand was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer on Friday, September 12th. So, on Thursday, October 9th she will be having surgery, and having a full hysterectomy. She has a lot of medical issues so they are going to do it robotically and it will be roughly a 4 hour surgery. So though it is not ideal that both of your parents have cancer we thank God for what we have!
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she goes into Thursday as she is very nervous, and scared.
