University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point Animal Behavior Club

University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point Animal Behavior Club Our meetings will be held on every other Wednesday of the month and are located in TNR 361 at 6:00 P We also go on a number of trips during the semester.

Our group is dedicated to exploring animal behavior through both a biological and psychological standpoint. Every other week we hold a meeting during which you will experience presentations from speakers like the International Crane Foundation, and Dr. Barta and her therapy dogs, and much more! We have been to the Henry Villas Zoo and the International Crane Foundation, to name some examples. Keep an eye out for more on what we will be presenting and where we will be visiting. Also, feel free to get involved in our various projects! Right now we have four projects going:
- Dog Project - Visit the dogs at the humane society and help train and interact with them to make them more adoptable.
- Rat Project - Work with our adorable group of rats and test their memory through enrichment project.
- Bird Project - We have our very own African Grey parrot that we are training to talk and testing his cognitive abilities.
- Alligator Project - Watch the TNR resident gator get his teeth checked and his picture taken.
