Sunny skies with a cool breeze set the scene as campus leaders, employees, students, Employee Wellness staff and Well Wisconsin program staff came together to get moving in support of Mental Health Awareness Month. More than 150 participants joined the one‑ and two‑mile walk routes around campus and the nearby neighborhood to raise awareness reduce stigma and promote inclusion for those with mental health challenges on campus and in the community. In addition to the walk, Employee Wellness hosted activities, informational tables, a photo booth and games.
