Well Wisconsin Honors UW-Stevens Point
The annual Well Wisconsin Awards Ceremony took place on February 26, 2026, at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center in Madison. UW-Stevens Point won the UW System Award for the highest participation numbers of any of the comprehensive campuses. Wellness Ambassadors for campus, Sallie Scovill, UW-Stevens Point School of Health Sciences and Wellness and Tom Bertram, UWSP Human Resources, accepted the award.

Tom Bertram received the Leadership Spotlight Award. This award recognized a leader (formal or informal) who has driven their organization toward a supportive well-being culture. They role model a commitment to their health and encourage employees to take care of themselves.

Both Tom and Sallie attended to hear lessons learned from award winners and gain ideas for improving well-being in the workplace. The event concluded with a networking reception and refreshments, along with a fun game of wellness bingo. Congratulations to everyone involved.
