WHAT A DAY!!! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Annual UWSP Homecoming 5K! Nearly 180 runners, incredible sunshine, and an amazing crew of volunteers and supporters made this event a huge success. Our community came together to celebrate movement, connection, and wellness — exactly what the physical therapy profession is all about.

We’re less than TWO WEEKS away from the 3rd Annual UWSP Homecoming 5K Run/Walk! 🎉

Join us for a scenic race through Schmeeckle Reserve in Stevens Point on Saturday, October 18th! Whether you’re running competitively or walking for fun, this event celebrates Pointer Pride, community, and movement during Homecoming Week. 💜💛

The UWSP DPT Student Organization proudly hosted our first annual Physical Therapy Job Fair today! Over 50 DPT students had the opportunity to connect with 17 incredible PT clinics, gaining valuable insight into the job market and building relationships with professionals in the field.

That’s a wrap for 2025 APTA CSM! Our organization was able to provide $2,750 in scholarships to help nine students attend the conference and present research. Also - congratulations to our program director, Kathy Zalewski, PT, MPA, Ph.D., who was presented the 2024 Margaret Kohli Award for Outstanding DPT Alumni Contributions by her alma mater, UW-Madison!

2024 Homecoming walk/run 5k at Schmeeckle Reserve!!

This was our second annual Homecoming 5k and we doubled the amount of runners from 2023! Thank you to the volunteers and runners!Be on the lookout for the 2025 5k next homecoming!
