Thursday, Dec. 5th, 5:30-7:30pm. Our initial parent/family support group meet and greet. For families of children with special needs and/or learning differences. Feel free to drop in, ask questions and fill out a simple survey. We would love your input. A light dinner will be served for parents/caregivers who have an opportunity to swing by on their way home from work or are able to step away from other obligations for a few minutes. Childcare is not available, however we will try to provide this service for future meetings.

Thank you for hosting sensory friendly performances!

SENSORY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE!

We are delighted to announce a sensory friendly performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! We invite neurodivergent individuals, people on the autism spectrum, family members, and caregivers on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30PM (doors open at 5:30PM).

ALL sensory friendly performance tickets are complimentary, but tickets must be reserved in advance. Please call or email the Box Office at 406-728-7529 or patronservices@MCTinc.org.

At this performance, we are happy to offer:

☑️ open seating
☑️ quiet area in our lobby with pillows, blankets, a rocking chair, and children’s books
☑️ patrons can go in and out of the auditorium as needed
☑️ house lights will stay on
☑️ shortened run time of 1.5 hours with a 10 minute break

Come see our Hamilton SLP’s, Madison Kurtz and Molly Forrest, to help answer questions about developmental milestones and discuss speech language delays. They will also be available to answer questions you might have about literacy challenges for any of your school aged kids. We love serving our community and are looking forward to seeing you Friday January 26!

Connections to Communication will be doing free speech/language screenings in the Bitterroot valley! We have 4 experienced speech therapists that are willing to go to local daycares/preschools to offer screenings to help educate providers and families as well as offer services within the facility if needed and supported by family physician. We understand getting to appointments can be very difficult for working families! If you know of daycares/preschools anywhere from Florence to Darby that might be interested, please let us know and we will contact them to offer more information!

What a great asset to our community!

Meet the newest member of our Transformative Health team, Rylie Layser, LCSW, CCTS-I.

Rylie is a Bitterroot Valley native focused on providing trauma-informed therapeutic care to children, teens and adults. Rylie earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at Utah State University. She has spent the last 7 years improving her abilities to meet the ever-changing needs of clients, especially those with SPMI (severe persistent mental illness) at both domestic violence crisis facilities and in private practice settings.

As a therapist, Rylie’s first goal is to build a solid foundation of trust through psychoeducation, emotional regulation, and modeling healthy communication in the client-therapist relationship.

Rylie is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS-I) and is able to help clients process how trauma/stress impacts the mind/body connection. Rylie is passionate about “practice what you preach” and regularly uses physical exercise and mindfulness practices to find balance and improve her own mental health. Her hobbies include rock climbing, fishing, crossfit, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

We are so excited to have Rylie as part of our team and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll have with our patients!

Expanding language is ALWAYS fun at Integrated TherapyWorks 🤩
This water table has been in the box since 2020 but when this little one spotted the packaged box tucked away and said ‘water table water beads’ that’s exactly what we did! Reward communication when possible! It creates confidence for our little friends to keep trying!!
