New blog post!

Curious about energy healing but worried it’s a little too “woo woo” for you? I get it, and I totally used to relate to that perspective. I have a very “show me proof” type of mindset.

After four years of doing reiki, I can tell you hands down I’ve seen all the “proof” I need that this type of healing WORKS. This practice is my passion and most certainly my purpose 🙂.

This post dives into some of the concepts that I learned that helped me understand what is really going on during a reiki session, what our chakras represent and how profoundly powerful this approach is.

"Future of Medicine will be the Medicine of Frequencies" -Albert Einsten.

The human body is approximately 60% water and sound waves can travel through water more efficiently than through air. Sound healing theories posit that these vibrations may influence the water within the body, impacting cellular processes and promoting a sense of well-being.

I utilize sound healing in all of my sessions, either through a sound system, tuning forks or sound bowls. The effects are profound! There are numerous frequencies that are used in the healing arts, including the 9 Solfeggios, however these four are my favorite ones to use.

You can easily incorporate these frequencies into your daily routine. You Tube has a large library of each!

432 I use while I’m doing work, it keeps me focused and prolongs my productivity (ADHD helper : ))
528 I use for stress, anxiety and headaches.
432 I simply play for enjoyment when I’m home or driving, it puts me in a calm, happy mood. Perfect for the commute home after a long day.
963 Provides a MAJOR boost during meditation, so much so that it is one of the frequencies that is a constant in the background of my sessions.

Cold and flu season is here! There are numerous herbs that help boost the immune system and aid in the protection of our bodies. Incorporating these into our daily routine, either via herbal teas or powdered herbs, can help us maintain a robust and thriving immune system. Although these can be incredibly helpful, a strong and healthy foundation is critical as well! Having a healthy, balanced diet, getting quality sleep, managing stress and engaging in regular exercise should top priority!

Certain herbs can help alleviate anxiety by promoting relaxation and reducing stress, with few or very little side effects. Some work best for more acute situations (like Skullcap), while others are perfect for daily use to manage chronic anxiety issues (Hawthorne and Lemon Balm).

It is important to note that everyone is different and you may react better to certain herbs than to others. If this is your first time using herbs to manage your anxiety, do some research! Try to narrow down a few to try that may seem like a good fit. You will know when you have “clicked” with a particular herb and it will truly enhance your life. Feel free to message me with any questions or guidance on which one may be best for you : )

As always, make sure your tea is organic! Choose loose leaf and a tea pot over bags, as nowadays, many tea bags contain micro plastics and other harmful chemicals. CHEERS!
