We were full of Earth Day spirit this year! 🌎🐛🦋
Our kiddos celebrated through hands-on, play-based activities designed to target important developmental skills while having fun along the way. From making celery and cream cheese caterpillars to support sensory exploration and feeding goals, to practicing impulse control and dressing skills with The Very Hungry Caterpillar button snake. Every activity was packed with purpose.
Kinera kids also worked on sequencing, multistep direction following, creativity, and fine motor skills while creating their own seed paper. We wrapped up the fun with an Earth Day themed scavenger hunt focused on visual perceptual skills, complete with a butterfly photo op at the finish!
Learning grows best when it’s meaningful, engaging, and just a little messy. 💚🧡
