About Dr. Cooper
Dr. Kim Cooper is residency trained to diagnose, manage and treat ocular diseases and visual disorders in adults and children. With over 15 years of experience in contact lenses, visual disorders, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration, she provides complete and quality eye care. Her expertise includes specialty contact lenses and treating dry eye disease.
Dr. Cooper graduated as valedictorian from Michigan College of Optometry in 2009. She completed her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia, SC. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and is an active member of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO), Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE), Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE), American Optometric Association (AOA), and the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA). She has articles published in ophthalmic journals, lectured on various ophthalmic conditions, and trained optometric interns and residents.
As creator of Life Vision Eyecare, Dr. Cooper has embarked on a new journey which enables her to apply her extensive experience to provide the highest standard of care. Dr. Cooper is excited to serve Southwest Michigan. She is proud to provide and protect vision with innovative medical and science-based natural treatments with emphasis on personalized care and quality eyewear.
