🌙 As a third time mom, I know the nights can be tough. They can feel so long, so lonely, so hard to get through.

You don’t have to trick yourself, engage in toxic positivity, or romanticize the nights. They are HARD. Say it out loud: “This sucks. I’m tired. I want to sleep. This is really exhausting.” All of that can be, and likely is, true.

But we can’t stay in that mindset all night. We have to reframe and shift. We have to take back the day (or night) and keep going.

Validate. Reframe. Continue.

These little mind shifts at night have helped me tremendously in my first week as a third time mom. I hope they can help another mom out there too.

You are not alone 💛

🎉Type “GYM” for a link to the new Play Gym II from . Something I am SO proud to have been apart of creating!

👋🏼 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of 3. I have been ANXIOUSLY awaiting not only the arrival of my third baby, but the launch of this amazing Play Gym!!

I met with the product designer at Lalo in 2025 and we talked about how to create a Play Gym that can grow with your baby into toddlerhood AND hit all of the developmental checkboxes for littles. And together we did it!

I created the Play Guide that goes along with Lalo’s Play Gym, so parents can feel confident and empowered when playing with their baby and toddler. What a dream to have my name on this product!!

Parents, it’s time to add the Play Gym II to your cart, your registry, and to your play routine!! I’m so excited it’s here!!

🎉AND my code “EPS10” saves 10% of on orders of $70+! Comment “GYM” and I’ll send you a direct link to shop!!

🩷 Type “LINKS” for all of my favorites as a newly postpartum mom of 3!

Just like my hospital bag, my list of postpartum essentials is short, sweet, and functional! Items that help with recovery, help mom feel comfortable, and oh yeah- FOOD. Lots of food.

I have had the sweetest friends send snacks and deliver home cooked meals, and honestly those are the things I am the most grateful for!

I don’t know for sure where the phrase “hold the mother” originated, but when I did some research I found that credit is given to Jabina Coleman. We really need to focus on holding the mother in postpartum. So, if you know someone who recently had a baby, take a moment to “hold” them as you can from near or far. It makes a big difference!

Pouches can be so useful in your baby or toddler’s feeding journey, so don’t be afraid to lean on them! Not all pouches are the same, so make sure you look into ingredients, testing, and more when making your choice.

We love all of pouches. Their new Pork pouches have become some of my littles’ favorites, and I love that they are getting a great amount of protein and fat from each pouch.

🧸 Comment “PLAY” and I’ll send you a list of our play favorites and our FREE 6 month developmental resources!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, Play Expert and Mom of almost three. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

We like to call it the “6-month Switch” - when baby’s play skills take off around 6 months and continue to build and grow rapidly! The best way to support your baby’s development during this time is to focus on FUNCTIONAL play and modeling of FUNCTIONAL words!

Simple play activities accompanied by simple words are really the best! Model words like:

☀️Push!
☀️Pull!
☀️Touch!
☀️Put in!
☀️Take off!
☀️Beep, beep! Vroom!
☀️Bang, bang!
☀️On!
☀️Off!
☀️Go!
☀️Stop!
☀️More
☀️All done

As baby gets better at sitting up and their motor skills continue to increase, their play skills will grow, too. Enjoy this time of rapid learning and growth- it’s really so much fun to see! ❤️

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of almost 3. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

These are my top 3️⃣ activities to do with your 3-month-old because they help support your little one’s speech, language, and oral motor skills.

1️⃣ Teethers are often forgotten about or not introduced early enough. Bring them out around 10 weeks of age- which is right around the time you see baby chomping on their hands more! Mouthing teethers and other toys is great for oral sensory development.

2️⃣ You’re told to “read everyday” with your little one but make sure you’re doing it while FACING baby. They can see your mouth and the book, and it’s more engaging this way. Focus on labeling nouns and verbs- save those colors and letters for later!

3️⃣ Babble, blow raspberries, and make faces at baby! The key here is to WAIT for your baby to respond in any way. Once they do, respond back and keep that conversation going. This activity can last a long time even at this young age! ❤️

🚽Type “POTTY” for a link to the 3-in-1 potty from - it’s what we are using for potty training this time around!

👋🏼 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of almost 3.

Potty training does not need to be stressful, and it can actually be so much fun. Remember that we can’t force a toddler to do anything, but we can offer support and see what happens!

I’ve used these potty training techniques with both my littles and they have responded so well:

1️⃣Read books about the potty a lot.
2️⃣Start with the potty on the floor.
3️⃣Move to the big potty (I set a timer every hour to help remind them once we get to this step!)
4️⃣Bring the potty on the go.

Accidents are going to happen, but the more consistent you are, the less likely they are to occur! You’ve got this!!

🎉My code “EPS10” saves 10% of on orders of $70+! Parents-to-be, new parents, and parents of littles, be sure to check out Lalo’s website for the best baby and toddler products out there!

🍽️ Type “PICKY” and I’ll send you our Free Picky Eating E-Book to help you navigate mealtimes with your baby and toddler!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of almost 3. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

Up to 50% of parents think that their child is a picky eater, but I’m here to tell you that food refusal can be normal in toddlerhood especially. Before labeling your little one as “picky” it’s important to ask questions to figure out if they truly are “picky” or they just have preferences.

💡Remember that some food refusal and some “pickiness” is normal! Not everything warrants a label. Give yourself grace as you navigate your toddler’s mealtime behaviors, their desire for independence, and their newfound discovery of making their OWN choices.

You got this.
