✅ Comment “CHECK” for our FREE Comprehensive 0-36 Months Milestone Checklist that lists ALL the developmental milestones for the first three years of life, and a link to the Early Intervention contact information for all 50 states.

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of two.

🇺🇸Most people don’t know that if you live in the USA, have a little one under 3 years of age, and you are concerned about their development in any capacity, you can call your local Early Intervention and schedule an evaluation completely FREE of charge. FREE.

If you’re concerned about rolling, sitting, walking, babbling, eating, social skills, sensory difficulties…ANYTHING. You can call and schedule an evaluation.

If your little one qualifies for services, depending on the state, those therapy services are FREE or low-cost.

➡️You do not need a pediatrician referral.
➡️You do not need to give your private insurance information.
➡️You just need to call.

Early intervention exists for a reason. Its purpose is to help little ones catch up EARLY, so they aren’t requiring services for as long or as frequently, and so they don’t experience compounded struggles later in life.

If we didn’t integrate Penelope’s STNR reflex now with her EI Physical Therapist, she would have been at risk for difficulties with attention, auditory processing, and coordination with more complex body movements. Because we got her help early, she is no longer at risk for those struggles.

There is such a stigma around babies and toddlers needing help, and it’s about time that ends. With two littles who needed intervention and who are now thriving in toddlerhood, let this be your sign to get help if you need it.

✅Just comment “CHECK” for our FREE Comprehensive 0-36 Months Milestone Checklist and a link to the Early Intervention contact information for all 50 states.

✅Check and see.
❌Don’t wait and see.

☀️Comment “CHECKLIST” and I’ll send you our FREE 0-36 Months Comprehensive Milestone Checklist with all the milestones, all in one place!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, Play Expert and Mom of two. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

As a mom who has had two littles in pediatric therapy (physical therapy for my daughter and occupational therapy for my son), I am here to tell you that there is ZERO need to panic about delayed milestones. But, when you notice a possible delay, it’s time to do something about it!

1️⃣First, download a milestone checklist and see what skills your little one might need support with.

2️⃣Second, work towards those milestones and offer more support at home! (Psssst, Our Infant and Toddler Playbooks help you do that!! 🎉)

3️⃣Third, if progress isn’t being made as quickly as you’d like, it’s time to call Early Intervention and reach out for help. Evaluations are FREE in every state in the USA and all you have to do is call. No referral from a pediatrician needed.

A delay is nothing to panic about. Littles can make progress with the right supports. 👏🏻

📚 Comment “READ” and I’ll send you our FREE resources on how to read with your little one and our favorite books for babies and toddlers!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of two. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

➡️➡️ Less than 50% of parents read to their little one every day, but we know that reading to babies + toddlers is the SINGLE largest predictor of academic success. (literacyproj.org)

🎉 I’m here to show you that reading can be simple, and you can make it fun! Attention spans are short (that’s normal). So, while you have your little one’s attention, make book reading fun with body movements, special sound effects and noises, and letting them participate in the fun!

🥑 TYPE “SOLIDS” and I’ll send you links to our top-rated resources for starting solids!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of two. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

A most FAQ in my DMs is “How much should my baby eat at meals?” Like everything in parenting, the answer isn’t so black and white, and it will vary from baby to baby and meal to meal. So, while we can’t say exactly how much your baby should eat, we can tell you where to start!

🥄 Offer 1 Tablespoon of each food you’re serving your baby. And if they want more, give them more. It’s really that simple! No, they don’t have to eat all of the food you give them (Do you eat all of the food on your plate each time? NOPE!), and you can give more as baby cues to you that they are still hungry.

General Rule of Thumb:

🥑6-8 Months:
1 Tbsp of Each Food- 1-2 Foods- 1 Meal a Day

🍎8-10 Months:
1 Tbsp of Each Food- 2-3 Foods- 2 Meals a Day

🍌10-12 Months:
1 Tbsp of Each Food- 3-4 Foods- 3 Meals a Day

🎉If you are about to start solids or are on your feeding journey and you want comprehensive, research-backed information from experts that *actually* specialize in starting solids, our resources are for you!

➡️➡️Comment “SOLIDS” and I’ll send over links to what parents in over 99 countries have been loving!

🥑Comment “PICKY” and I’ll send you our FREE PDF Download Preventing and Navigating Picky Eating! An entire E-book on picky eating for FREE!

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of two. My team and I make developmental resources that actually make sense, created by specialists who know their stuff, so you can stop stress-Googling at 3 AM.

First, know that babies and toddlers refusing foods is oftentimes normal. Yes, it’s frustrating, but most of the time nothing is “wrong”- they are just exercising their freedom to choose!

Coming at food refusal or picky eating from a fun and pressure-free lens is best. Use a variation of this song when eating with your little one! Change up the lyrics to include “poke it, scoop it, chop it,” etc depending on what you’re serving. Just like it’s okay for you to offer them bites, it’s okay for them to offer bites to you too!

We packed all of our most helpful tips as feeding specialists into this freebie and are so excited for you to have it!

➡️Just comment “PICKY” and I’ll send you a link so you can download today!

The truth is that you won’t ever go back to your pre-pregnancy body because you’ll never be “pre-pregnant” again.

This is a sentence I wish I would have heard over and over and over in early postpartum as I beat myself up over how I looked after having a baby. So, I want to make sure all moms hear it.

After having a baby, our bodies are just different. And that’s okay. I’d argue they are even better than the pre-pregnancy version because they did something truly miraculous and amazing.

As I am planning for postpartum with my third, I am focusing on ways I can nourish myself and my baby. I did a really good job with that after my second and I saw how much better I felt afterwards compared to my first. So, I teamed up with our registered dietitian to create this resource for all moms. Easy, nutrient dense recipes and snack ideas, as well as some great information about nutritional needs in postpartum.

No matter if you’re pregnant, 2 days postpartum or 2 years postpartum, it’s definitely worth a download and read! And it’s completely FREE.

And remember to be kind to yourself ❤️

☀️Comment “PLAY” for a link to our Free Milestone Checklist & our Infant and Toddler Playbooks! Resources that help your little one meet ALL of their milestones in the first three years of life.

👋 Hi, I’m Jordyn: Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of two. My team and I aim to educate parents on how to support their baby & toddler’s speech, feeding, and motor development at home!

⏰This video is only 2 minutes long, but so much happened in here! This is a realistic look at play time. So many parents think that babies and toddlers should be engaging in play routines for several minutes and that’s just not how it is.

📢 PSA: Little spurts of attention and communication exchanges is NORMAL. Littles are only expected to attend to a task for as many minutes as they are old… so simple math tells us that for a 1 year old, that’s about ONE MINUTE.

You can see though, that even when she lost focus on my activity, she still found ways to play and communicate using what was around her. Because language and play are everywhere!!

👏🏻That means you can help your little one meet milestones using ONLY what you have at home!!

🎉 That’s why we created The Playbooks! They contain hundreds of milestone-focused play ideas using ONLY what you have at home- anyone anywhere can do these activities! And families in over 100 countries already have 👏🏻

➡️➡️ Created by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Pathologist, these Playbooks have ALL the info you need to meet ALL of your little ones milestones!

Another requested video to go on the feed: We need to stop measuring intelligence this way.

All babies and toddlers are smart, all the time. Their knowledge of the alphabet does not define their intelligence. Focus on their overall communication skills and how they can interact with the world around them.

That’s all :)
