🚨 SERVICE UPDATE – PLEASE READ 🚨

Starting next week (1/12/26), some customers in Austin, Grand Meadow, and Racine will have their pickup day moved to TUESDAYS going forward.

🔴 This change affects:
• Some Austin customers (north of I-90 and east of the Cedar River - see map reference below)
• ALL Grand Meadow customers
• ALL Racine customers

If you are impacted by this change, you should have received an email from us confirming your new pickup day.

This adjustment allows us to provide better service and improve route efficiency, so we thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we make this improvement!

Our office will be closed on the dates listed below, and service routes will be delayed accordingly. 👉 Please note: Independence Day (July 4th) falls on a Saturday in 2026, so routes will NOT be affected that week.

• All Thursday routes will be serviced on Friday
• All Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday

Office Hours:

✅ OPEN New Year’s Eve 7am-5pm
❌ CLOSED on New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1st)
✅ OPEN Friday, Jan. 2nd 7am–5pm
✅ OPEN Saturday, Jan. 3rd 8am–12pm

Tame the after-Christmas chaos by recycling with Harter’s! 🎁 We accept wrapping paper, cardboard & gift boxes, holiday cards & envelopes, gift bags, tissue paper, and even Christmas tree lights — right in your Red Lid curbside recycling bin! ♻️

👉 Please remember to flatten all cardboard boxes and place tissue paper inside a box or bag to help keep it from getting wet.
