We added a brand new roll-off truck to our fleet this summer and it’s all thanks to you! Your continued support makes this all possible and we truly couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️

📣 Labor Day Reminders! All routes next week will be delayed by one day due to the Holiday falling on Monday, Sept. 1st!

Monday's route is moved to Tuesday
Tuesday's route is moved to Wednesday
Wednesday's route is moved to Thursday
Thursday's route is moved to Friday
Friday's route is moved to Saturday 9/6

Our office will also be closed on Monday, and re-opens Tuesday morning at 7am.

This is a question we get quite often so we wanted to share a more detailed look at how our trucks work!

All of our residential trucks are dual-compartment trucks, which means the back of the truck is split into two separate compartments:

🗑️ One side for trash
♻️ One side for recycling

When your driver tips your bin, he rotates a pivoting blade from inside the truck to the side that matches the bin he is emptying (recycling or trash). He then rotates it back when he picks up the opposite bin.👍

So yes!! Your garbage & recycling do indeed stay separated (and your recycling goes on to be sorted at the recycling facility) even though we pick up & dump both bins into the same truck. It makes it quite efficient to pick up both at the same time on the same day every week, and also means one less BIG truck driving down your street. 🚚✅

This Harter crew had an extra sweet day on Saturday supporting Rochester’s young entrepreneurs! 🍋 Lemonade Day - Rochester Area MN

We tried to stop at as many stands as we could and it was such a joy to see the creativity, confidence, and business smarts these kids brought to life. The lemonade and treat varieties were very impressive too!! We’re definitely proud to support the future of Rochester! ❤️
