Hey guys! The Town of Keota recently lowered the speed limit throughout town..mainly around the school. The HLP and OSU HOPS program are going to be painting some crosswalk lion paws around the school. We need some help! We are looking at maybe Thursday and Friday of next week...July 31 and August 1. We plan to start early in the morning both days so we don't have to work through the heat of the day. Hit me up if you can help!!! Thanks!! DD

A great big THANK YOU to all of our artists that came for our art walk yesterday! I have to say that Haskell County showed up and showed off!!! It was so fun! I am truly amazed at the talent in our community!

We have 15 artists signed up for our Art Walk! You can pick up a voting card tomorrow at any of the 8 participating businesses. Get your card initialed by all the artists and come by Brew and Bliss, grab a drink and snack, and vote for the Peoples Choice! This is going to be fun!

The Art Walk is coming soon!!! We have 11 artists that will have their work displayed at the local businesses on the flyer. This event is the same day as the Stigler Farmer Market so it will be a truly amazing day!! Over the next few weeks, until the event, we will be highlighting our artists and the businesses. Be sure and check in regularly and we can't wait to see you on July 19!!

Our next spotlight artist is Jennifer Kendrick. Jennifer is an emerging artist from Stigler who has discovered a passion for painting over the past two years. Jennifer uses various styles and techniques that allows her creativity to unfold. You will be able to see Jennifer and her work at Simply Unique at the Stigler Art Walk on July 19. We can't wait to see what she brings!

The first artist we are showcasing for our Stigler Market Day Art Walk is Miranda Fann. Miranda is from Stigler, is a registered Choctaw Nation artist and loves drawing and nature. Miranda has won several awards for her work. You will be able to see Miranda's work July 19th from 10-2 at Joeys General Store. Miranda, we are so excited to have you and can't wait to see more of your amazing work.
