🌟 Get Ready for the “Healthy Habits Hunt!” 🌟
The Health & Wellness Center is launching an exciting new interactive health initiative across seven Oklahoma counties — and YOU could win cash prizes while learning more about preventive healthcare!

Starting May 25, community members can participate in a county-wide scavenger hunt by finding and collecting six themed game pieces placed throughout local communities. Each piece highlights an important area of preventive health, including:
✔️ Cervical & breast cancer screenings
✔️ Colorectal cancer screenings
✔️ Diabetes screenings
✔️ Blood pressure monitoring
✔️ Weight management
✔️ MyChart utilization

🎉 Participants who collect all six pieces will be entered into a county-level drawing for a chance to win $500! Two winners will be selected in each participating county.
📅 Hunt Dates: May 25 – June 25
🏆 Winners Announced: June 29

Game pieces will be hosted at local businesses, libraries, community organizations, and public spaces throughout each county. Completed entries can be submitted at a local HWC clinic or by sending a photo of all six collected pieces to your county’s HWC page.

As some of our patients may already be aware, upcoming changes on June 26, 2026 are taking place within the Eufaula Family Practice and Eufaula Urgent Care, and we want to take a moment to both celebrate and thank two incredible providers for their service to our community.

McAlester Regional Health Center would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Laura Black-Wicks and Coleen Logan for their dedication, compassion, and commitment to caring for the people of Southeast Oklahoma throughout the years. Their impact on countless patients and families across our region has been meaningful, and we are grateful for the relationships and trust they have built during their time at MRHC.

Their presence will certainly be missed, and we wish them the very best in their next chapters. ❤️
