Recovery creates ripple effects. 💚

Shawn (pictured on the right) was one of the very first participants to join our Re-Entry Program in 2024. Today, two years later, his story is a powerful reminder of what support, determination, and community can accomplish.

✨ He is maintaining sobriety
✨ Reunited with his family
✨ Leading a construction crew
✨ Building a brighter future for himself and those around him

But one of the most meaningful parts of Shawn’s journey is what happened next.

When a newer participant in the program began struggling, Shawn stepped in to encourage, support, and mentor him through the difficult moments. Because of that connection, both men are now maintaining sobriety and giving back in an incredible way — coaching their daughters’ Little League softball team together. 🥎

That’s the ripple effect of recovery.
That’s the power of second chances.
That’s what community looks like.

We are so proud of Shawn and all of the individuals in our Re-Entry Program who continue to prove that recovery and rebuilding are possible. 👏
