All people are striving for well-being in their life, with ideas, goals, and opportunities available for each unique person. It is my sincere belief that most people know the direction they aim towards in life. However, life often throws us curveballs, and it's okay to ask someone to come along for part of the journey. You may need help to reframe your perspective, build up coping skills and mindfulness, process trauma, or support your relationships in order to continue on your life's journey. When this happens, I can be the person to help support you on your way back to wellbeing. I provide systemic therapeutic services for people of all ages and family systems. I offer support for individuals and relationships of all kinds and focus on getting to know my clients and their families, fostering a positive relationship to be present with them. I strive to address the cultural concerns and stressors that have an impact on people every day, such as ethnicity, sexual orientation, beliefs/philosophies, gender, age, disability, trauma, mood, and relationships. We can work together to build you up and pursue your life - you don't need to walk this journey alone. About me:

I provide systemic therapeutic services for people of all ages and family systems. I offer support for individuals and relationships of all kinds. I have specializations in working with the LGBTQ+ community, military families, children ages 0-5, and their families, rural communities, and adoptive/biological families. I have obtained certifications with DC 0-5 and Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate (PACC). I employ various therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to, narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, experiential therapy, play therapy techniques, attachment-focused therapy, mindfulness, and collaborative language. I focus on getting to know my clients and their families, fostering a positive relationship to be present with them on their journey to well-being. I strive to address the cultural concerns and stressors that have an impact on people every day, such as ethnicity, sexual orientation, beliefs/philosophies, gender, age, and disability. Outside of my therapeutic work, I spend time with my family and friends playing board games and Dungeons and Dragons, continuing my learning and education, teaching dance classes, and playing with my two cats, dog, and lizards.

I am both excited and reflective to announce the next part of my career path. Yesterday was my final day at Secure Base Counseling Center, as I will be continuing at Psychology Express full-time. My time at SBCC has been incredibly influential and has shaped much of who I have become as a mental health clinician. I reflect back on this time with so much fondness and recognize the immense impact it has had on me. Thank you to SBCC and the community for your support and love!!

Mindfulness is amazing self-care!

And self-care is being aware of what you need, staying in touch with both your mind and body.
