Welcome Dr Priyankha Balasundarum!! Today was her first official day at work and it was such a celebratory feeling all day. So excited to provide a safe space for another doctor to practice medicine they way they know it should be. Primary care docs are constantly told by the system that our value lies in how many patients we can see/day or the number of referrals to specialists we can generate. In DPC, our value lies in seeing our patients holistically and walking with them to achieve their goals of healthier living. Such a breath of fresh air!! I never get tired of it. Dr B is accepting new patients. She’s going to be quite popular so reserve your spot on her panel ASAP!!!

We are excited to announce that Dr Smith was nominated as volunteer faculty for the Aesculapian award. The Aesculapian award is a way medical students recognize excellence in medical teaching at OU College of medicine. Congratulations Dr Smith!!

When we were planning the new clinic I asked Joni and Angie if they had any requests. Immediately, they said covered parking. When you have employees as great as I’m blessed to have it’s impossible not to listen to them. It took awhile but today, we finally got our parking shade installed!

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. We were surprised to find an entire semi trailer load of free sod delivered Santa Claus style to the clinic overnight! 🤩 Alas, they got the delivery address mixed up. So they came and took it all away. Ah well, we’ll wait on the rains 🌧️ to grow some grass on the bare lot to the E.
