Why Ginger + Castor Oil?
(And why I built a whole product—and a book—around it.)
Castor oil has been used for generations to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and deep tissue comfort. It penetrates slowly and deeply, making it ideal for stubborn aches, inflammation, and tension.
Ginger brings the heat—in the best way. It’s warming, stimulating, and known to support blood flow and calm inflammatory responses. When infused into castor oil, it helps “wake up” sore, stagnant areas.
Together, they’re better.
Castor oil carries ginger where it needs to go. Ginger activates. Castor oil sustains.
🔬 The science matters
Research summarized by the National Institutes of Health has shown ginger’s anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) effects, particularly related to prostaglandin inhibition and circulation support. Castor oil (rich in ricinoleic acid) has been studied for its ability to support inflammation modulation and tissue response.
This isn’t folklore—it’s old wisdom plus modern research.
🧴 How we use it (real life, not hype):
Massage onto sore joints, backs, hips, or neck
Use with heat (heating pad or warm sock) for deeper relief
Daytime use for movement support; nighttime for recovery
A little goes a long way—slow massage, let it absorb
📖 Yes, I wrote a book about it
Because this combo kept showing up—in my own body, in farm families, in people who’d “tried everything.” GC-40 exists because it worked before it was ever a product. (It's free on Kindle Unlimited: https://amzn.to/3NfCSyP )
This is why ginger.
This is why castor oil.
This is why we keep making it—small batch, from our farm, on purpose. 💛
