All over the world there are mamas carrying life, some due any day, some due soon and some who just received that positive test. You’re stuck in all of the emotions. Excitement. Fear. Joy. Sadness. Rush. Overwhelmed. Some of us are bringing our first borns into the world with no waiting room full of excited family. Some of us are having to choose new birthing facilities at the last minute or develop a new birth plan. We’re worried if there will be enough diapers or wipes. Will it be safe to bring a newborn to a checkup? Should family even come see your new baby? You’re stuck. You’re stuck in a midst of chaos and unsure what to do. The Lord says not to live in fear, so we are putting our bravest face on to conquer the world and protect the new life we’ve been blessed with. That’s what mothers do. We face fear head on to protect our children. So here’s to all of the mamas, the ones who are feeling all of the emotions right now. The ones who are stuck in a strange feeling of excitement and worry. The ones who are prepping and stocking the shelves so much that sometimes they almost forget it’s baby time. The mamas defending their family and trying to hold up the shield. The mamas turning to Jesus because we realize we can’t hold up the shield alone. The mamas laying it all down at His feet. To all of the mamas. No matter where you are on this journey of , I hope you feel Him holding up your shield too. I hope you find joy in the moments, no matter how different they may look. I hope you find peace. ❤️
