Located in the heart of downtown Stillwater, our light-filled, beautifully designed space brings hair, beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetics under one roof — offering built-in connection, visibility, and growth, without sacrificing your independence.

Meet the Founders: Carla & Baily — The Heart Behind The Populace Collective 💫

We’re so glad you’re here. The Populace Collective was born from a shared dream — to create a space where independence and community coexist beautifully. A place built for the people, by the people.

We’re two entrepreneurs, moms, from Stillwater who saw the need for more than just another salon or medspa. We envisioned a home for passionate professionals — stylists, estheticians, barbers, and wellness experts — to grow their businesses, elevate their craft, and feel truly supported. Together we rise -
stronger, brighter, better.

Carla’s journey began in healthcare as a Registered Nurse, leading teams and caring for women — an experience that shaped her passion for creating spaces that uplift and empower. Now, as a professional in Medical Aesthetics and an advanced injector, she blends science and artistry to help others feel confident in their own skin. Her vision for The Populace was born from that same purpose — to create a space where independent professionals can work with intention, feel inspired by their surroundings, and thrive within a community built on connection and care.

Baily’s journey began behind the chair, where her love for hair and creativity evolved into a passion for building community. Owning her own studio showed her the power of connection — professionals thriving side by side, each building their dream while supporting one another.

Here, individuality is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and excellence is the standard. It’s more than a workspace — it’s a collective built on collaboration, care, and connection.
