Let yourself be held.

As the seasons shift and the world grows quiet, nature reminds us to slow down, to release, and to return to what nourishes us. Autumn invites us to let go while winter asks us to rest deeply. A guided retreat at Kripalu is a way to honor both.

Here, Erin Casperson, Lead Kripalu Faculty and the director of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, invites you to be supported, to be held by wise teachers, nourishing meals, and the stillness of this sacred land.

No need to plan or push. Just arrive and allow your inner wisdom to guide you back to center.

In every season, but especially now, let Kripalu hold you in the warmth of community and the quiet of transformation. It’s time to remember what wholeness feels like.

Ancient wisdom for thoroughly modern times, the Kripalu 200H Yoga Teacher Training.

We are loving these two quotes from our namesake Swami Kripalu and our Kripalu School of Yoga Director Rolf Gates.

At Kripalu, we walk the householder path—applying ancient teachings to meet the demands of modern life. That means these practices live not just in ashrams or books—but in how we lead, how we parent, how we grieve, how we heal, how we get things done, and how we love. They help us show up in moments both sacred and ordinary; for the joy and the sorrow.

Under the guidance of our amazing faculty, Michelle Dalbec and Rolf Gates , our next 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training will consist of two 12-day sessions: November 30–December 12, 2025; and January 25–February 6, 2026, in-person at the beautiful Kripalu campus!

Full Swami K Quote below:
“Seekers who believe they must practice yoga only in the meditation room are under a great illusion. They must practice yoga in society as well. Practicing yoga in the meditation room is easy because there are no external disturbances. But one encounters many disturbances while practicing yoga in society, which makes it very difficult. The true yogi is one who can successfully protect his mental steadiness while in society.” ~ Swami Kripalu

Just out here taking tree pose a little too literally. 🧗🌳

Behind the serene smiles and graceful poses you see in our photography, there is a different story happening behind the scenes to create the magic. From tree climbing, prop holding, wardrobe changes and equipment malfunctions, to water fights, naps and cookie breaks, the shenanigans are nonstop!

Beautiful, evocative images are always the goal, but the bloopers might just be our favorite part 🌞💛

It is with honor that we mark another year of service and partnership with Native Communities as we walk together towards Kripalu becoming a place of belonging, healing, leadership, and spiritual restoration for Indigenous peoples.

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day – we recognize and celebrate the history, resilience, and living culture of the Indigenous people that were here before us.

We acknowledge with gratitude and humility that we are working, practicing, and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican people.

Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and this year we celebrated and supported the inaugural Homelands PowWow – a cultural celebration which marked their return to their ancestral lands.

Kripalu has partnered with tribal representatives to offer programming focused on the tribe’s history and culture and has made all Kripalu offerings accessible by scholarship to community members.

We invite you to take a moment today to celebrate this holiday by learning more about the Indigenous people of your area and to celebrate Indigenous wisdom.

“You don’t have to change to belong. You don’t have to shrink to fit. At Kripalu, you are invited to come as you are—and remember your wholeness.

When you feel brave enough to be seen, you begin to heal. When you feel loved enough to be real, you begin to bloom.”

You belong, here.

Sending love to our entire community, we are so honored to share the path with you.
