We've been a little MIA lately! Our support group is POPPIN' though. Don't feel intimidated or scared to join. Do not let your anxiety control you! These women are the most kind, understanding, and helpful people I have ever met.

Something came up in a group that I wanted to share with the public. Bipolar is a journey that is DIFFERENT for EVERYONE! Don't feel like the way you experience your symptoms are too extreme or not extreme enough for the diagnosis. Some people are hospitalized, some are accidently diagnosed. Some people get the diagnosis the first time they seek help and unfortunately others spend years searching for answers. If you think you're bipolar and want to talk to other women to see if you're similar, reach out! Talk to us!

Something was said to me today that I want to bring to everyone's attention, especially because this is a support group, for Emma and I too. We may have created this group, but we did it because we need you. That being said, let me lay this out:
Decide whether or not you can handle taking on someone else's stresses and burdens.
Tell them you can or cannot handle their bulls**t with them.
I had a very wonderful person vent to me today and then immediately apologize. I told her, if I can't handle your bulls**t mentally, I WILL TELL YOU! Be there for those who need you, while also prioritizing your own mental health.

Currently, I am in a good place. There have been times where I do not even look at this group because I know I can not take on anymore. THAT'S OKAY! There are also times where Im fully engaged and reaching out to members individually. THAT'S AWESOME TOO.

It's taken me years to figure out these boundaries and everyone needs to hop to it. Put your mental health first, if you're in this group, you can not afford to not know if you can handle it.

PS you are loved and strong and graceful. you fu***ng rock.
