Christina Kocienda has been with Gentiva since February 19, 2024. She is another one of our incredible CNAs. Christina has been a CNA for 6 years, but she has only been with Gentiva for a year. When asked why hospice, she said, "I knew I was born to do this."

Meet our new Executive Director, Rodney Smith! He's coming to us with 30 years of healthcare experience, starting off as a respiratory therapist and then becoming a registered nurse. He worked in emergency nursing and behavioral health for many years before coming to hospice. His journey so far in hospice has been 18 years, and he is still going strong. Let's give him a warm welcome! We are happy to have you at the Stockbridge office.

Introducing one of our two Chaplains, Trammell Kitchens. He's been a chaplain for 11 years and has been with Gentiva for 2 years, in May! When asked why he wanted to be a chaplain, he said, "He was being obedient to the calling of God!"

You will report directly to our AVP of Operations. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned Hospice program/site(s).
• You will plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of hospice at assigned location(s)
• You will oversee the coordination of admission of patients to Hospice Services
• You will direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers and coordinate services of all team members of the multi-teamed site(s)
