HELP WANTED: Direct Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Caregiver to join our team in a warm and supportive Adult Foster Care home setting. Our home provides care for adults who need assistance with daily living while maintaining a family-like environment.

Location: Stockbridge, MI
Position Type: Full & Part Time
Shifts Available: All Shifts (1st & 3rd shifts are part time, and 2nd has both part time and full time available)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Provide personal care (assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)

Assist with meal preparation and feeding

Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional well-being

Dispense medications as directed

Support with daily activities and social engagement

Light housekeeping and laundry

Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean living environment

Qualifications:

Experience working with adults with disabilities, mental illness, or elderly populations preferred, but not required

Must pass background check

Reliable transportation and good attendance record

Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility are a must

Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred, but not required

Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Ability to handle physical tasks and respond to emergencies with guidance

Must pass a background check

We are currently looking to hire additional Direct Care Staff for our 2nd shift care team.

Our Direct Care staff works in our home like setting to help provide all levels of care to our residents.

As a member of our care team you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as perscribed by licensed healthcare providers, monitoring conditions and changes of our residents and reporting to appropriate designated parties, performing housekeeping and hygiene care, helping to keep a clean, tidy and safe environment while maintaining a caring and compassionate mannerism.

Hours and hourly pay will be discussed on an individual basis and will be determined based on experience, availability and interpersonal skills shown in your interview.
