Today we joyfully celebrated all things heart and love! The room was filled with warmth and happiness as our beautiful décor and glowing candles created the perfect atmosphere. The residents were absolutely delighted, soaking in the cozy, romantic ambiance that made the evening feel extra special and wonderfully relaxing. It was truly a celebration to remember! ❤️✨

Our Valentine’s Day party was filled with love, laughter, and sweet memories! Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of festive activities, delicious treats, and great music that had everyone smiling and tapping their feet. From fun games and paint & sip to sharing stories about wisdom & love; the room was full of joy and connection. Our tasty Fanta strawberry floats and individual heart-themed cakes made the celebration even sweeter, while classic love songs created the perfect atmosphere. Most of all, it was a beautiful time for our residents to feel appreciated, celebrate friendships, and simply enjoy each other’s company. Love truly was in the air!
Thanks to Jimmy and the crew from church for joining us today for some activities and decking out some of our residents wheelchairs and walkers for Valentine's Day. ❤️❤️❤️

Our Carnation Candlelight Dinner was a beautiful evening filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Surrounded by soft candlelight and lovely carnations, our residents enjoyed a peaceful time together sharing good food, music,sweet conversations, and special memories.”

We had a ‘Souper’ good time at our Souper Bowl! Our residents enjoyed delicious soups, games, laughter and great fellowship together. There’s nothing better than sharing warm bowls and warm hearts with such an amazing group.🏈🏈🏈

Benton Villages’ very own Nurse Kari shared her time and expertise with residents, providing a fascinating bird’s-eye view of the heart and its role in overall health. This engaging half-hour was filled with meaningful conversation, great questions, and helpful insights. Residents were genuinely excited to participate and learn more about caring for their heart health. A heartfelt thank-you to Kari for such an informative, uplifting, and energizing presentation. ❤️

We were grateful to partner with to provide blood pressure checks in a way that felt encouraging, supportive, and reassuring. Moments like these remind us how important it is to care for both the body and the spirit, making this a meaningful beginning to our Heart Health Week.

Our Go Red Luncheon reminded us that every heartbeat is a gift. Together we celebrated life, friendship, and the importance of caring for ourselves and one another. A big shout out to Nurse Karri for speaking to our residents today on heart health and ways to stay healthy. And Brightmoor Hospice for comming out to do blood pressure checks on our residents.
