Summer’s here—and so is the heat! ☀️ Keep your little ones safe and cool with these essential tips from the American Academy of Pediatrics:

💧 Stay hydrated – encourage frequent sips of water (infants get extra breast milk or formula).

👕 Dress smart – light-colored, loose clothing breathes easier and keeps them cooler.

⏸ Plan rest breaks – take regular indoor or shaded breaks to recharge.

💦 Cool off – a splash in a pool or a mist bath can be refreshing.

🚗 Never leave kids in cars – a vehicle’s temperature can spike dangerously within minutes.

👀 Be a Water Watcher! Drowning can happen in seconds—even with lifeguards nearby. Assign a responsible adult to give kids their full attention any time they’re in or near water.

📵 Put down the phone
⛱ Avoid distractions
🛟 Supervise constantly
🔁 Switch off for breaks

Every second counts. Stay alert. Stay safe. 💙
